Plug on back of AC

Can someone tell me what this two wire plug is for on the back of my AC compressor? My new compressor did not have it so I guessing I got the wrong one?

High pressure cutoff switch.

Your new one probably has a filler plug in that hole. Take it out; take the switch out of your existing one; move it to the new one.
