need help with ac compressor clutch wiring
i have an 89 iroc 305 tpi and i have a residual ac charge. the problem is that the plug for the ac clutch is inexplicably missing. can someone thell me where the wires for this come from so i can either rewire one in or find the actual plug i have looked for about 10 minutes but i cant find it. its the plug that plugs into the front of the compressor that control the magnetics for the compressor pully.
any help would be appreciated.

It is a green wire and it is usually in a harness and it goes over near the accumulator and the 'cycling switch'.. you can buy a new connector at any auto parts, make sure you use one as they have a diode across the terminal to prevent the clutch from hanging up and staying engaged.

im still at a loss heres some pics to help me explain.

this is a picture of my compressor the plug in the middle has no plug going to it and no plug in sight.
this is the plug with the green wire and the diode. as you can see it will not fit into the plug shown above. i just got back from the yard and most of the compressors had this plug plugged into them. do i just have a strange compressor or something w.
what can i do to get it working to see if my system works.
thanks in advance

That is the plug for the compressor, but it is for the older clutches. parts stores sell an adapter if you don't want to cut wires. It is made by murray and the part number is 37218. The pigtail to splice in is 37215. Both are availible through O'Reillys
