Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: Stock

Aluminum radiator and fan/shroud combo recommendations

Anyone have any fan/rad combos they have ran? I have been in the market to replace my stock plastic radiator and taurus fan with an aluminum one and shroud combo.

The 4th gen fans fit with little trimming and you can find them used. I picked up a set of 98-2002 fans for about $40 from a pull a part. Fit well with a little trimming. You will need to add a second fan circuit.

Maybe it's just my but I've never had an aftermarket fan last as long as an OEM fan. I've tried Spal and Flex-a-lite. I've never had cooling issues with the stock 2 row, even with my last 406. I did change out fans to 4th gen OEM LS fans.
