Hello great people how are you doing today I need some help a lot of help I have a 91 RS Camaro 70,000 miles that I did at ly6 swap upgraded cam all that good stuff port and polish heads and I bought a harness from wiring specialties got it all hooked up but I didn't think that I needed to add the $75 AC option because of the standalone AC that the Camaro already had so as I get to you know chopping down the original harness I kept the AC stuff but the issue that I'm having is that once I cut off the connectors for the ECU off the original harness the connectors that were the wires that used to run to the ECU no longer have a place to run and so now I need to figure out how to get the AC to run without the ECU I've been looking all around and I've heard of a trinary switch that could run the system off pressure instead of a signal so after a certain amount of pressure I think 256 PSI the fans will start to run with the AC to get them to kick on my issue is how do I get this to run with my r4 my current setup for the stock AC I have no clue and don't know where to start can anybody please help me I would be greatly appreciated and forever in your debt

Well I guess I'm in the wrong space. Maybe Ls forums has some more people who can help. Over 100k users and no one knows how to wire the AC so it bypasses the ECU. Like come one. Send me some ****ing help

Sounds like you need to figure it out yourself and then post the answer here to help other people just like you. We have a lot of members who do that.

No way to make friends and influence.people, but i would tell you to buy the right harness and replace the one you bought instead of a "band-aid" fix.

 

What sense would that make if no one helps me and I figure it out it will be **** yall
