Let me just preface...this is my daily driver that's not a thirdgen. I realize that not all thirdgens came equipped with a power steering coolers. Furthermore, has anyone actually seen the thirdgen PS cooler? With that said, I'm going to share what came out of my daily which has sprung a leak and a picture of allegedly what a thirdgen would use. My line of thinking is that it's my daily that will never get used for extreme duty. I was thinking of replacing my leaking cooler with a piece of stainless steel tubing somewhat replicating the thirdgen one. I'm looking more for longevity and if I hafta spend a dime to actually employ a cooler with fins, I'd be more than happy to cut apart an a/c condenser to serve the same purpose. Thoughts...???

I have done that to my 91 TA. I did it mainly to have more space between the radiator and the engine. Granted my car has been converted from left to right hand steering. I wanted it to have more space and it make the engine bay look a lot better. Just use a small cooler such as a heater core. You can mount it almost anywhere because it requires very little cooling capacity. Haven't had any trouble at al..Hope that helps!
Any one else have issues logging in with their IOS device??? Anyhoo thanx...all good suggestions!!! On some other web search, I did see that a '04ish caravan uses something similar to the silverado suggestion. If I use the f-body one, it's gonna get cut at the bend and perhaps step one of a double flare will be employed for rubber hose retention. Btw many moons ago a friend that parted many cars in his yard, let me have one from a camaro so yeah that's laying around somewhere around the yard. I neglected to mention I'm leaning towards the f-body styled one but I'm gonna just walk into the hydraulic shop and make one using the original as a sample but of course it'll be just plain tubing without the fins.
