ECM definition change, questions

I have a 1227165 on my 86 IROC, what do I have to do, to convert it from a $32 def setup to a $6E definition?

I know there are advantages, that sound like they will work for me, since I have a Mini-ram and have the lean out condition w/ backfire, and tip-in and I have the need to eliminate the cold start injector.

Is this easy, should I do this?

Tony

Disable or remove the cold start injector. It's as easy as removing the 3-amp Crank fuse, or as difficult as buying and installing a plug kit for the cold start injector and its little fuel line.
