Performance ECM

Replacing my tired 1989 305 with a 1995 LT1 350.
I have the computer that came with the LT1 but it has a stock ECM chip in it, I want to get the most bang for my buck, my question is? where can I get a performance ECM burned for this firebird?
Thanks Mike.

They don't have chips like our cars do, they have Flash Proms. They are re-programmed using a computer (like the one from Hypertech) through the ALDL port, or you can do it yourself with a laptop and the LT1-Edit program. The only problem is that you'd need the whole wiring harness and everything from the donor car, so it'd be a lot easier to just burn your own chips using your original computer.
