L69 Prom
I want to get a chip for my car as soon as I put my new l69 in, but I think that a custom burned one would work best,
I have a L69 M5 w/3.73, the motor will have: a cam with 204/214 duration and .420/.443 lift , an Edelbrock intake, and a full exhaust (headers and cat back)
Does anybody have a hypertech or Ads chip for their L69??? I had a Hypertech thermomaster in my 91 RS before I yanked the TBI, it felt pretty strong. BUT, the intake, and engine internals were stock except for 1.6 rockers.
Anyway, I WANT TO SQUEEZE EVERY LAST HORSE FROM THIS ENGINE IF I'M GOING TO BUY A CHIP, THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK... OR SIMPLY THE BEST CHIP OUT THERE, thanks guys
Also Anyone have quarter mile times for an L69 M5 with chip and without??? this help to figure out HP diff.

The "chip" for L69s are really quite primative and don't do much. Fuel is still controlled by the carb, not the ECM.
For all the money you are prepared to spend on your L69, you'd probably get similar results from "mechanical methods" due to the limited nature of the chips used in L69 cars.
