Hypertech chip and Timing???
I have installed the Hypertech Thermomaster chip in my 88 GTA 350 TPI. I want to change my timing to 10*. However I know that the chip was "supposed" to advance my timing some. So I am wondering if I manually change my timing will the computer correct it back to it's programed setting????
Secondly, would I get better results by reinstalling the factory chip and then advancing my timing?
Any help is appreciated!

You'd get the BEST results by buying the equipment to burn your own eproms. Then you can do ANYTHING (well almost).
It's not that hard and the results can be spectacular. Those "off-the-shelf" cookie cutter eproms are a complete waste of money. You're better off with the stock eprom and just using "mechanical methods". And I don't recomment that either. But its better than those "off-the-shelf" eproms.
