hey, i know you can hook up your laptop to your ecm or something and tune it. i really have no clue how this process would work. if anything can tell me how its done, id appreciate it. thanks.

You can download a free program called Winaldl and read extended inoformation from the ECM, but you cannot change any values. But you can use the information you read to diagnose problems and tune components. If you have basic electrical knowledge, you should be able to make the cable necessary to connect your cars ALDL connector to your computer. More info on this page:
