Pretty much stock car, 1992 SD 350 TPI auto currently:no cats flowmaster exhaust, but with manifolds. I am swapping to a t-5 and 1.6 RR. I assume that I'm fine with the stock chip? But can i swap in a zz4 cam if i got back to the 1.5 rockers and still use the stock chip? Exactly how far can i get and still retain drivablility/ mpg? Vortech heads? I am pretty good with computers (have built 3 watercooled systems) so hardware is not a problem if it comes to tuning via/laptop. With a transmission swap you'll want to use a stock 5-speed bin such as AXXD. I used a ZZ4 cam with the stock 305 5-speed chip in my car and had no problems.

I know absolutely nothing about burning chips yet, but I did purchased the data cable from the same ebay auction. It took about 10 days to get here, but it's a really nice quality cable and has a color print out of how the cable connects to the interface on the car. It took me about 10 minutes to get the moates software up and running with this cable. And most of that time was from me making mistakes setting up the software to talk to the car.
I've seen this cable go for up to $55 on his auctions. I waited and watched his auctions and got my cable for the starting bid plus shipping.
