i got to thinking, if the holley dfi controls all that goodstuff, what will control my oil/temp/water/voltage sensors that go to my guages? is that totally seperate from my stock ecm or what is really going on under there?

On F-bodies, the guages use a different sensor for water from the ECM, the stock ECM doesn't use any oil sensor (only guage) and voltage is just a volt meter.

Actually, many of the aftermarket units use even less sensor inputs than the stock ECM. Won't pass emissons if the BC Government ever impose province wide emission testing (something they are discussing behind the scenes).
