Will this work?

I have a 88 Iroc TPI 5spd and I got a deal on a chip for an 89 TPI 5spd car. Can I use this chip in my 88 or is there a difference that will keep it from working properly.

TIA :hail:

The '89 chip will look for the VATS signal. Without that signal from the ignition (the '88 cars don't have this) you're car won't run long (like 3 seconds).
