Car wont start, I think it is ECM related

Ok here is a description of the event that led up to what my car is doing now.

-I went to change my thermostat, and a wire coming off the back off the alternator was in the way of my wrench getting on the water neck.

-I unplugged the wire from the back of the alternator.

-I changed the thermostat.

-I attempted to start the car.

-It turned over, fired once, and died.

-I remembered the unplugged alternator, and plugged it back in.

-I tried to start the car again, and all that happens is the starter turns the crank over and over and over. Every now and then it will fire once, and then die.

Thats where Im at.

One of the weird things about it is the SES light will not come on at any time. I tried to check my codes, but the light will not flash. Neither during a code check, the key being in the on position, or during startup.

That makes me think there is something wrong in the ECM circuit or something. Im guessing I blew something when I tried to start the car without the alternator plugged in. But I dont know where. I checked a lot of the fuses in the fuse box under the dash but I didnt see any blown. (I could have missed one though)

What do you guys suggest? Where are there fuseable links leading to the computer that I can check to see if are blown? Any other fuses that may have blown and cause the car not to start?

My car is a 1992 Formula L98.

Thanks,

Adam

You said there's no SES light at all which leads me to believe the ecm is not getting power. Check the ecm/fuel pump fuse in the engine bay on the drivers side by the battery.

I am having a similar issue with it not wanting to start, but on the rare occasion that it does, it idles hellaciously rough. I was thinking this may be due to my ignition module. Could this be the ecm acting up on me?

Is that the one next to the negative terminal, attached near the radiator? Or is it somewhere else. That one was fine. Any other ideas?

I just changed my ECM, and it did not fix the problem.

Sorry I needed to do that.
