In your '87 Camaro RS 2.8 MPI it would be in the aircleaner box above the radiator on the drivers side.

Any thoughts as to where it might could be on my bird???
A short time ago i took the belt off my air-pump and disconected probably half a dozen clips for emissions junk...Partially because i figured that since i smooshed my EGR return tube (gravel road intersection) it couldnt hurt much...The car actually runs better w/a few of the clips unplugged.
Thanks for the input anyways.

I sort of skipped over the 'Bird since you had a 4bbl on it. However, if it was originally a TBI it was in the aircleaner, if TPI it was in the bottom rear of the plenum.

[edit: just checked the tech data and found out that the last year for 4bbl's was '87. If stock then I'd say air cleaner housing for the MAT, which when in an air cleaner is an IAT, still does the same thing].
