Engine: 88ci
Transmission: 5 speed
New member quesiton... Code 12?
says no signal to the pcm, yet the car runs and drive fine other than being a little rich. It's a 92 RS with 305TBI

Any thoughts on what causes it/what to fix?

It is normal. Just means that the engine isn't running at the time you are pulling codes (paper clip method?).

Transmission: bolted to the engine
Code 12 is just telling you the aldl (diagnostic port) is communicating with the ECM.
