L98 using LB9 pcm

What would happen if you hooked up an L98 to an LB9's pcm? Also, what if it's an L98 without the coldstart injector and the LB9 was set up for one?

The '88? Most likely it will start and run. May not run very well though. Without the cold start injector it will be difficult to start cold. If the L98 is backed with an automatic and you don't want to futz around with PROM burning, order a MEMCAL for a '89 L98 TPI w/auto from GM.

In '89 the cold start injector went away and was replaced with new software that did the cold fuel compensation with the existing injectors.
