Ive got the Tunerpro RT program (on free trial as of now), and brand spanking new Dell laptop, its a top of the line. I ordered the $32B ECM file cuz i have the 87 GTA Trans Am 350 5.7L.

What cable do i need to hook my laptop to my cars connection underneath the steering wheel (i think thats where it is). ?

Other than getting cable, am all i set to go? My friend has the hardware which is a ECM reader/eraser.

Basically i wanna be able to run my own scans so i can see where i can make tunes here and there.

heres the cable I just got. Sure you can probably make one for cheaper but I have no clue how to do it so I just bought one.
