Hey guys:hail:
I have an 86 TA 305 auto 4bbl rochester

I would like to know if I can just get rid of the computer setup all together and what do I need? a new carb? distributor? new engine?

Please. I need da 411:hail:

Axle/Gears: 9-bolt w/ 3.23's

Youd need a non-CC carb, dist. , and a few other odds and ends. Id personally keep it. The cc-qjet is a good system and can perform very well. Keep in mind that removing it wont help performance any, and may make it even slower.
