Auto and Manual ECM differences?

I posted this on the tranny board too, but I'm posting it here to get as much info as possible.

I swapped my 700r4 for a wc t5, and was wondering what changes, if any, need to be made to the ECM? I have a 4plug connector that was plugged into the old auto, and now it's just hanging there.

If I change the ECM or get a new chip, is it possible to hook up a shift light? I think I remember reading something about this somwhere, but im not sure.

The only difference between the stick and auto would be the MEMCAL. The ECM is the same. The four wire down by the trans doesn't matter. That was the 4th gear switch and TCC.

The park/neutral wire from the auto shifter should be left open. This will tell the ECM the trans is in drive.

Best bet would be to get a MEMCAL for a stick car. One from a '92 would be best. Don't know about the shift light. It is only a milage thing anyway.
