I replaced the IAC and set the low idle to 500 rpm, reset the TPS. I am still getting a code 43. When under load I get a slight ping/knocking sound. The check engine light comes on after a WOT run wen I lift. During the WOT run the engine seems to free up (i do not know another way to put it) and then the light comes on.

Runs great and idles perfectly now, but I would like to fix this issue with the car.

Car is a 88 IROC F 305 tpi.

 

After adjusting your idle, you might also need to adjust your timing again.
