Stealth Ram and Commander 950 up and running!!!!
I posted this over in the TPI forum too, but I thought I'd put it here too...anyway. I finally did it! I got ahold of a stealth ram and Commander 950 and managed to get it running and somewhat drivable before I had to go back to school! It still needs a bit of tuning and I have to re-seal the front and rear of the intake because both ends are leaking oil but it does run! I got a sweet deal on the intake, injectors, fuel rails w/afpr, throttle body, distributor, coil, and K&N air filter, so I couldn't pass it up(someone else on the forums decided to go carbed so I got all his efi stuff for $375...200 miles on the intake!!!). Then I got the Commander 950 TPI kit w/ wiring harness and an MSD in-line fuel pump and hooked it all up! The funny thing is that all of the Holley base maps for the C950 have WAY too much timing for my engine. With any of the Holley maps the engine wouldn't rev past 2500 rpm and popped like CRAZY. I thought it was fuel, but then I tried playing with spark and that took care of the popping. I can't hit 30 degrees of spark advance until I'm way up in the rpm band, where the Holley maps start the spark around 20 degrees advanced at idle (I'm running 10-11 ish now) and hop up into/near the 30's very quickly. It seems odd to me, but pulling timing made it run right so I guess I won't worry about it too much lol. Anyway, just wanted to brag it up a little. If anyone has tips on tuning the C950 I welcome them wholeheartedly!!!! Thanks guys!!
Here's a pic of it after I got it running:

also, I polished the plenum myself. It didn't come out as awesome as some of the stuff I've seen here on the forums (I think I should have spent more time wetsanding it) but I was pretty happy with it, especially considering how little the supplies cost!

Looks good. My ecm is a Mega Squirt(I am familiar with Holley) but I can try to help if you have tuning questions.
Looks like it will win a show or two.
