Comander 950 injector wiring
Comander 950 injector wiring
I've got a problem with commander 950
Everything else is working great but i'm a bit confussed with wiring the injectors. I can't find any info on the firing order. I know its a batch fire system and i found one post on chevytalk that stated it doesnt matter how they are wired up. The same post stated that the only bennefit would be lower emmissions. (i have to pass emmissions with this setup (not CARB, local).)
Does anybody know the firing order? Do the drivers fire in sequence? (ABCD), (ACBD) or something like that ?? Since Commander 950 is a batch-fire, witch two drivers fire at the same time (would help so i could wire up a bank to bank fireing order)
Commander has 4 injector drivers that are marked A,B,C,D. My logic would be to wire the injectors up so that 1 and 8 cyl are firing at the same time. Followed by 4 and 3 and so on. (if 2 injectors are fired at the same time)
I don't have the wiring harness nor am i going to get one
Any help would be very much welcome.

Batch fire is one side fires 4 at a time i. e. 1357 then 2468, sequential follows the firing order of the motor. A little more power, and better emmisions in sequential.

In batch, all injectors fire simultaneously.
Yup i understand the difference between batch and bank to back fireing.. I was just windering whitch injector drivers fire simultainiously on the ecu?? 4 drivers and 8 injectors. If i have the injectors wired crossed the bennefit of bank to bank would be lost. (Correct?)
I got the engine running fine. No problem. On back to bank firing. Does it matter at what time the bank fires? Lookin at the ignition sequence i would say no.. Any oppinnions?
