EPROM Mismatch??

This question probably seems a bit silly to some but any help is greatly appreciated. I have been working on my 1988 Camaro Iroc-z and trying to finish the project up. The engine has been rebuilt and the casting numbers on the block, heads etc.. match to a 350/5.7Liter TPI. The engine seems to run great for like 5 min when its not to hot but then goes to total crap and backfires all over the place and won't do much of anything but stall and sometimes not start back up. The car orginally cam with a 305 TPI and the EPROM chip installed is a hypertech Thermomaster for a 305 TPI. Could this be my problem? Is the 350 TPI calibrated different?? The ECM seems the same and has a service number of 1227165. I have the 3.27 9 bolt rear end and from my research I beleive I need a Eprom chip ID 3269AKXX ??? I am running headers with the Bosh single wire o2 sensor, I removed the air pump and cat and am running hooker shorties non emission. Car has a brand new MAF sensor, and a new set of "pink" Bosch 22lb injectors, New MSD Distributor, New plugs, wires, and I have the fuel PSI set at 50 PSI with the vacum hose removed. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks...
