None are decent! Period! For what you are willing to throw away on an aftermarket chip, YOU CAN BE burning your own.
Wanna make a fan temp change, and injector constant change,or add a bit more cranking fuel? No problem. Wanna make the same change with an aftermarket, send it back to whoever, pay shipping, and their fee, which is not cheap, and by the time you do this two times youll have yourself a $600.00 eprom, that wont be any better than the one you have now.

Ya it takes some time effort and money, but IMO, it's well worth the results, to do your own.

I bought the stuff to burn prom chips from Moates for 178.?? dollars. That is the prom burner, the adapters for both my TBIs, and 2 chips.
The ALDL cable cost me about $5.00. The laptop is one that I already had.
TunerPro and WinALDL are the software of choice. I also programed my TI-83 calculator to where I can insert the BLM#, the old VE and the new one will be calculated.

Just like Fast says. Its not expensive when you think about it. You'll never be limited to what you can or cant do. No one would mail their carb. out, have someone change the jets, powervalve etc. and then you install it, and its perfect. Your eprom will be for YOUR car. You can do some constant changes, like injector size, to get it running, then get into tuning your VE tables. Later on down the road you might want to invest in a WBO2 and you can get your WOT tuning optimized. No mail oreder eprom will ever be able to do that. Here is a link that you can read. After reading it, things will start making sense. Remember, you will not learn this stuff overnight.
