Engine: 350 TPI L98
Transmission: 700r4 w/ shift kit and 2500 stall
Axle/Gears: 2.77 one tire fire!!
which ecm?
which ecm will i need to use with a 350TPI? i have completely gutted the old set up because it was originally a 305TBI. or can i reuse the current ecm? how do i know which ecm it is? as you can see im new to this....thanks guys

Ir would depend upon whether you want to go with a MAF or with speed density (SD). Maf, use a '165 and $6E code ('89 MAF code). SD, use a '730 and $8D ('90-'92 code).
Can't or shouldn't use the current ECM. It isn't setup to correctly run a port system.

what are the differences in the setups? which do u think would be a better choice? or does it depend on the year of the TPI system i put on?

SD doesn't care which intake is used.
Early MAF needs matching intake or code mods.
Late MAF doesn't care either.
Provided you do what is needed for the 9th injector if applicable.
