Tonight I put the scanner on the Formula and started it up.

Everything looked good, I put it in R and back out of the driveway and start going down the road.

The scanner (AutoXray XP-240) looses the car and I cannot get it to read OP data or scan for codes AT ALL!!! I try many times again on my 25 minuted drive but the scanner cannot link to the car.

I get home and put the car in park, shut it off, turn the key on engine off LINK right away, start the car still fine. I didnt take it back out but I will retry tomorrow.

MY QUESTION is: should I be getting the hint that my computer MAY be on its way out? Does the scanner not being able to link to the car like that mean anything as far as the computer doing its thing properly?


Someone before me had a moats adapter in there and the PROM went bad so it is back to the factory PROM right now. Been running OK since I did the O2 sensor after changing the Fuel Injectors.
