What is going on here (cutting out)

Alright I dont remember when this started, it was somewhat recently. Anyhow, it seems to happen most when I hit the gas, but not always. Here is an attached datalog, you can see all sensor data is there but the rpms drop to nothing, then picks back up. Possibly the Ignition Module or pickup?

I get no codes and so far all I've done is swap the ECM for another.
Also sometimes when it does it it will go into limp mode I think but I can't seem to catch that on data log as it screws up the log for some reason. If I turn off the key and restart it is fine. Cruising around the block a few times, maybe 20-30 minutes of driving, it will cut out maybe 10 times depending on how I drive it (like I said it seems like when I put it under load it does it most).

Brainstorm away I'm all ears.

Re: What is going on here (cutting out)

No one is interested??

Hm.

Interesting thing, today I was making minor changes, and logging and it was acting the same. I unplugged the ALDL cable and the emulator USB to laptop cable and I could not reproduce the symptoms, not once in a good 30 minutes of driving the same conditions and style.

Coincidence? Hm.

Mine had those symptoms when the module went bad.

I replaced the module yesterday and it still did it.

I drove around again yesterday with emulator and ALDL unplugged, starting with a cold engine, for a good 30 minutes and I could not get one hiccup out of it. Very wierd.

Re: What is going on here (cutting out)

Um, well after driving it more during the past day or so with no hiccups, I messed around with some more tuning. Made some changes sitting in the driveway, uploaded to emu, and took off to test out my new accel parameters with datalog cable hooked up and logging, got about 100 feet up the road and tried to accelerate and it cut out. Let off and tried again and repeat. At that point I shut the car off and unplugged the cable. Started the car and drove off. Drove for probably 20 minutes without a problem.

Obviously something is wrong with the cable (or laptop). The only thing I can think of is the cable switching modes or something but it seems to run the same with the cable plugged in or out, in idle.
