JET chip

I have a 1984 Pontiac T/A and I was just wondering what the jet chips did for a 1984 car since it has like no electronics and since mine has had a motor swap. I just want to know what they do to see if theyre useful for my car, not sure if it's a waste of money in my case or not.

Re: JET chip

Its a waste of money. You can accomplish the same thing by advancing the initial timing in the distributor and fine-tuning the needles and seats in the carb for your combo.
