LM7 ECM
I have a new 2007 LM7 5.3 that I am going to swap in my 89. I wanted to get an ecm from a 2007 tahoe, or similar truck. I was told not to use a 2007 ecm, but they didn't explain why. I am planning on throwing an LS-6 cam and a complete ls-1 intake then reprogramming the ecm. Any ideas on the best ecm for the swap? I have an LT-1 ecm, which I assume will not do.
