car starts and runs good till warm,then sputters awhile then dies,won't start until it cools off. recently car would not run at all,found 5 month old converter clogged ,cut it out about a month ago and car ran until now.New O2 and CTS , I thought maybe ECM is bad, will ECM from 3.1 lumina work?

 

car have spark and fuel when it wont start.

no spark = more then likley it needs an ignition module
no fuel = more then likley fp or the fp relay is going bad

 

if module or relay is bad, what would cause new converter get plugged up?

 

theres a few things that can cause that

running to lean,running way to rich, carbon etc

 

if module or relay is bad would I get afault code, I don't get any

 

no u wouldnt get a code

 

The clogged cat and the not running might not be related,thanks I will check for fuel and spark. Would exhaust manifold leak cause bad reading from O2 causing rich condition and clogging cat?
