Cam Selection

I'm building a 383 for my '84 Vette. Bottom end will be all forged stuff and try to keep compression at 10 to 10.7:1 with 64c.c. DART Sportsman Heads. I have a 4 bolt main block that will be used. Intake is an X-Ram with 2" TB's and 454 Injectors. I will be running a HAM with EBL on a 7747ECM. Now from what I've come across so far is that the EFI Cams are ground on a 112-114 LSA and this helps for compatibility for the ECM. But since I am going to have full tuning capabilities can I choose a Cam with LSA in the 110 ballpark most commonly found in the non EFI cam selections. Reason I ask is I'm doing this on a budget and everytime I find one in a classified that someone is trying to sell NIB always ends up being a 110LSA cam. By the way I'm looking to run a Hydraulic Roller retro-fit set up in my motor and my target HP is about 450 and 500ft/lbs of torque. Thanks for any input or advice.
