hi all, I ahve a question about a pcm for less chip. I have a 1991 camaro with the 305 TPI F code engine and a 5 Speed manual. It has the dual cats if it makes a difference.ever since I bought my car it has had mood swings most little and not too noticeable but every once in a while it would be bad. to the point of having to floor it and still have it not be able to get out of it's own way but it would never throw a code when it did this. But like I said only every once in a while. Something tells me my stock PROM is slighty, well f***ed but any ways, my question is If I get a PCM for less chip and someting is actually wrong with my stock prom will the new chip fix it and over ride the stock prom or will it still happen?? I emailed pcm for less and the guy didnt answer my question at all. some help please?

 

what code did it throw? auto parts store can read it for you.
