XFI Speedo and TCC dilemma

Well i am proud to say I am almost finished my XFI ECM setup into my 87' IROC TPI!! I have two problems unfortunately. The speedometer to my knowledge was controlled by the factory ECM and now there is no solution to use it on my new XFI system.....Secondly, the Three wires on my 700R4 that controlled Torque Converter lockup are not able to be spliced or connected with my XFI setup. Are there solutions to these problems? I have tried again and again to contact FAST to no avail...Any help is appreciated THIRD GEN FAMILY...

Re: XFI Speedo and TCC dilemma

An '87 IROC will most likely have a cable driven speedometer. Even if it doesn't the ECM doesn't buffer the VSS. There would be a 4-out buffer box under the dash.

For TCC lockup hit the transmission board here. Several good threads on how GM did it without an ECM.
