Car: 1989 Formula,1991 z28
Engine: 400 Vortec Hsr,496bbc
Transmission: TKO600,TH400
Axle/Gears: 9"4.10, 9"3.73
Having had my fun with TPI...its time to move on to DFI!
switching my setup around for those who are interested/care lol...
Car has been a nitrous car for awhile, and has ran some decent numbers for what it is..
11.29@127 on a 200 shot with a 255/50/16 mickey DR..this is with a 350,vortec headed small SLP cam, and TPI with a scoggin dickey baseplate...
I am moving on from that...
to
Edelbrock pro flow XT vortec manifold and 90mm TB package..
and accel thruster DFI engine management, with a single borg warner S480 turbo{ i may go smaller, but this is what everyone keeps recomending to me}
Car is going to make one final appearance at the track with the nitrous setup, going to try for 10s on the slicks, its got the MPH...we'll see if its got the HOOK haha.
Teardown will start the weekend after 4th of july, DFI has been ordered, intake manifolds on special back order right now{ugh}
i cant wait!

Old thread I know, but curious what your tune/ecm was to get you down to the low 11's with that combo. I'm trying to get some more punch out of my combo before I start thinking about new directions.
