New part# for the 369 ignition module?

Ok, I had the 369 ignition module in my car that I bought from GMpartsdirect.com and it has recently burnt out. So I decided to buy another one from them and I put the GM part#10482827. When I bought the module two years this is the same # I used and when I got it...it had 369 on it.

The new module I got now has a different part# and it is 19179578. I know #'s change throughout the years, but the new module I got does not have any indication that it is the 369 module like the old one did. I want to make sure I did not get the 048 ignition module. This module only has GM stamped on it and the part# 19179578 printed on the metel portion.

I emailed GMpartsdirect and told them the same thing in the email. This is what I got back...

"Part number 10482827 has been superseded to GM part number 19179578. GM's pricing has changed between the two part numbers".

Also when you put in the two part#'s on GMpartsdirect the prices are different, hence the answer to the price difference.

I just wanted to confirm I received the right one. Anybody else have this experience?
