whats wrong here
I need help with a issue. I converteed to TPi in my K5 350. It does have a mild rv cam. I dont know the specs but it doesnt wreak too much havoc. I have a SD setup. I have a custom made stand alone harness and corrrect ecm. Vats and emmisions disabled. Trucks runs well when warm, a little bit rich when cold. Stock 21lb and all new sensors from the start, also a heated bosch o2. Issue is my idle will randomly jump to 1200 ish. Some times i can shut it off and restart and its fine. Other times i restart and it idles higher?? What the crap is goin on here.. Do I havee a memcall issue? Is it built into the prom? Its driving me nuts as i dotn like slamming my new 700r4 ito gear..

Re: whats wrong here
I remember my car used to have funny idling problems when it wasn't hooked up properly.
Pretty sure it want's a 4000 pulse signal in the computer for the SD but it's been years since I messed with this stuff you would probably be better off asking in the Electronics section. Good search in that area to might help.
