Set the CTS threshold for AIR divert high (150* C). The ECM will then leave it in divert mode which is the same as not having it.

The CTS threshold for divert is a calibration parameter in the PROM. By your OP I was thinking that you were into prom burning.

Re: A.I.R help

So how do you do it? The A.I.R pump on my T/A is shot, and I'm getting rid of the pipes hoses etc, will it run ok without messing with the comp/prom. Thanks.

I pulled the AIR system off of my 350 TPI L98 and it did not have any noticeable impact on the way it ran.

Re: A.I.R help

Thanks, any tips on how to plug or cap the exh manifolds after the pipes are gone, the flare nuts look rusty, I was thinking just to cut the pipes and cap them with something, Thanks again and sorry if I'm hijacking this post
