hey guys im new to the fuel injection thing and im in the market for a chip for my iroc im wondering what the chip is exactly is it the ecm?or the pcm?also what is a prom?(heard the term thrown around alot on here) what is a good brand?hypertech?jet?ive seen threads about the website pcmforless.com they any good?sry if these seem like stupid questions im just new to this stuff

 

General consensus here is spend the money on the equiptment to burn your own chip. Beware there is a long learning curve to this. Lots of stickys in this forum, prom forum and TBI forum. HTH!
