PLEASE HELP! High idle!!!

Well i'm not car expert so i'm gonna try my best. I'm not even sure i'm on the right message board so if im not tell me which one i should be on. I have a 1992 firebird 3.1 liter v6. It is idling at 2000 rpm for some reason. I tested MAP sensor and it is fine (I tested it using a vacuum pump and monitoring voltage) I have the all data info and followed code 33. It results in "Open Ckt 470" which is the blace wire on the map sensor connector. Does anyone know what that means or how I should go about repairing it??? Thanks.

i would checkk for vac leaks, spray carb cleaner around the whole intake,if its leaking youll hear a change in idle.and pull the iac off and spray it with carb cleaner really good put it back in and check.this is iac incase you didnt know just spray the spring with carb cleaner

Re: PLEASE HELP! High idle!!!

Ok I checked for vacuum leaks and did not find one. I sprayed all hoses and there were no changes in RPM. Now i'm reading code 34 which also involves either vacuum leaks or bad MAP sensor. Could it be a faulty map sensor??
