how do i determine how many flashes is what trouble code for example is 12 flashes code 12

 

when you enter into diagnostic mode on obd1 and you are counting the blinks of the check engine light. it will flash 12 three times. to count you will see a blink followed by a second blink. after the three 12's than any other codes will blink there is a slight pause between numbers.

 

so code 12 goes flash pause flash flash pause pause and this happens 3 times i only know code 12 what are the others

so if the light flashes 13 times it is code 13 and thanks for the help

 

it will blink for each number. for example code 12. it blinks once pauses than blinks twice. maybe a video will better assist you.
