Possible memcal problem?

I have a 92 bird with a 3.1 and I keep getting a error code 14 and 15. What I've done so far is change the temp sensor, checked the wiring from sensor to computer for shorts and opens. Wiring was good. I also changed out the computer with no change in the problems. The only thing that i can think that is left is the memcal but I do not have very much knowledge in this area. i attached pictures are of the one that I have. Any help or possible ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Re: Possible memcal problem?

It is unusual to get both a CTS high and a CTS low error. Could the CTS low have been caused by running the engine with the CTS disconnected?

It may be the MEMCAL is bad. The PROMs are at the end of there life. Maybe is is OK at power up and then starts to drop a bit or two once warmed up. Can usually fix that by erasing and re-burning the PROM.

Re: Possible memcal problem?

Thanks for the quick post back. The CTS wires have not been disconnected. I had a feeling that it could be the MEMCAL or PROM. It starts throwing the code (it flips back and forth) when the car is first started. I even left the battery disconnected over night to reset it but it came back within 30 seconds. I have no idea on the equipment needed or even whats involved to re-burn the chip.
