Lost on ecm's

My friends car is in the shop and I am trying to locate a computer for her. She has an 89 Camaro RS with TBI. I have a computer with the number 7-7730 and DC Code 0104GD. Can anyone tell me if this will work in her car. I am completely lost when it comes to computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

No, that ECM will not work for a TBI equipped car.

The ECM should be a 1228746 in the TBI car.

I didn't even notice your location.

I'll see if I have one.

Also check with delcohacking.com. It's a site based in Australia, dedicated to delco tuning. They might have some ideas on how to easily use an Australian ECM for your application.

If you can't find an ECM locally, or solution through delcohacking.com, let me know, I have an '8746 here.

Are you sure there's a problem with the ECM?

This thread has nothing todo with a aftermarket ecm or harness. You should start your own thread.
