TBI and 4L60E conversion

this is the most knowledgable forum for this kind of stuff. i know that im not working on a camaro, but ill be using some camaro parts.
anyway, im converting my 64 el camino to TBI and automatic overdrive trans. the later TBI stuff came with the 4l60e, i just dont know which ones. id like to nab the computer and harness when i find one. hopefully it will also have a good trans, but thats beside the point.

anyway, what all could my donor be?

1994-95 Chevy Truck with 4l60E, 16197427 PCM is very popular.

That's been done as well with the PCM.

Or a 700R4 comes with a differant ECM, pretty much anything from TBI trucks is an easy swap.

I would recomeed a Fullsize G-van as a donor. The harnesses are longer and less integrated into the donor vehicles. The ecms also often get overlooked because the conversion companies moved them behind finisher paneling behind the drivers seat.
