Problem with cranking.

So my car had a butchered wire harness , and the car cranks without the transmission being in park. I would love to make it crank only in park. I have the switch on the gear shifter , and it works (checked it with the multimeter) so I need help , in which wire should I cut and reconnect via the gear shifter switch. The only wire that has power while cranking is a really thick one, And i think there should be something with less thickness to cut?

P.S. My car is a V6
P.S.S. Sorry for my bad english xD

Re: Problem with cranking.

The wire from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid is typically purple in color. It is also larger then most of the other wires in the interior.
