Engine: 305(LB9) TPI
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: Borg-Warner 3.42
Will a 1228062 work? Need help!

Hi guys,

MY GTA needs a new ECU, 89 5sp 305TPI with factory 1227165 ECU. The JY close has a 1228062. will that work? Tried a aftermarket last year and it died within a week...

The '8062 is a TBI truck ECM. It may run the engine as many of the pins match up, but I wouldn't try it.
