350 Carb. engine stock.

alright so im having trouble guys . my check engine light is on and i plug in the code reader and nothing it just stays light up no flashing or anything. i checked it and theirs power on my 10 amp fuse for the ecm and theirs power on the obd as well . i unplugged the 10 amp and the car started idling rough so im guessing my ecu is working properly.
although my carb isnt making the clicking noise when put in the on position. i ran 12v from the battery to the fuel mixture sensor that clicks and it only clicked once im not sure if thats the problem? what would trigger my light to stay on and not throw codes?? as well as my carb needs a rebuild could it be that my carb is just **** or is their a possible short somewhere?? i cecked all my emission hoses everything seems proper . im running out of ideas please help fam ! thanks

 

Sounds like the ECM died.

You sure? Because when i took off the 10 amp fuse for the ecu my car started feeling crap. But once i put the 10 amp back it becomes a little better.
