nvsram or ostrich 2.0?

Car is a 88 gta that is getting a 7730 swap. It is a zz4 shortblock, 195 trickflows, lt4 hotcam, miniram, injectors, longtubes, all kinds of crap. I have no idea what is possible ecm wise on these cars. Buddy has used the nvsram and is familiar with it. Does the ostrich 2.0 do the same thing and which is better? Car is a daily driver so I want something super dependable. Do I need an thing else besides the nvsram/ostrich when I do the ecm up? Whatever you guys say to go with is what I am getting so thanks in advanced.
