Ecm upgrade: do I need it?

Hey guys. I have an 88 iroc 350 TPI car. I was researching on here and found that some people swap out the early model ecms for the 90-92 ecms with speed density instead of mass air. My IROC has had some maf related issues and I'm debating this swap to possibly be able to delete the maf and its components. I can't seem to find a detailed thread on how to perform this swap. Any info on this would be very helpful. Thanks

I don't know if you are ready to start doing your own tuning or if you plan on other modifications but here is one option. In particular read the notes by the **

Thanks for he information. However, I'm looking for something that doesn't require tuning. I'd like the conversion to be plug and play..
