Swapping from 85TPI ECM to 165 in 85 Vette

I have swapped and repinned, along with burned a chip, in this 85 Vette. I have the 165 computer in it and when cranking it will just sputter. If I remove the PCV hose on the side of the throttle body and spray it ether in controlled pulses it runs smoothly. Now this car has sat for quite some time and I have seen these older cars get clogged injectors while sitting for a length of time. Here is the kicker. I am trying to scan with Tunerpro and Autoprom. I get a connection but no data. I really need to read some data so I can start to track down my issue. At this point I cant even tell if any of my sensors are working other than checking voltages via multimeter. But with a maf car the maf is king and I have no data.Any idea from the ECU gurus...RBob etc...

Re: Swapping from 85TPI ECM to 165 in 85 Vette

Common issue with the '7165 ECMs.

Also, make sure that the ALDL data signal line is run to both E & M on the ALDL connector. The scan tool uses E for 160 baud data, with M being used when switched to 8192 baud data.
